In tandem with the Julianas who are shooting sporting clays today, brand new shooters will have the opportunity for instruction by Paula Moore, Chief Shooting Instructor for Orvis. Paula is a talented teacher with many years of experience as both a competitor and instructor. She is knowledgeable, patient, and easy going…a true gem. Instruction will be limited to four students.

Sandanona is located 90 minutes north of Manhattan, off the Taconic Parkway. We will meet at a very civilized 9:30am for coffee, a safety briefing and general pre-shoot milling about. Students will meet up with Paula for instruction at the same time, and we will all join up again for lunch around noon.

Although the program will end at the conclusion of your lesson, we will have a table reserved for lunch in the restaurant. Lunch is not included in the event costs so that each of us may order off the menu. Please note that “brown bag lunches’ are not permitted in the restaurant.

We guarantee laughter and smiles as well as the usual camaraderie attendant with a JASC event.

Cost: $155 per participant which includes instruction, shotgun rental, shotgun shells and tips. Note: lunch is not included although a table will be reserved for us to all eat together. Eye and ear protection is mandatory. If you don’t have your own, Orvis will provide.
