Fall fishing in the Adirondacks! It’s time to return to our Adirondack Base Camp for 3 days (2 guided) of fishing among the High Peaks. We will begin our trip on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, in the late afternoon, so everyone has time to make the long drive. Thursday will be a relaxed day spent at a restored rustic “Camp” on Lincoln Pond. Lincoln Pond is a 572-acre pond with large and small mouth bass, tiger musky, northern pike, black crappie, pumpkinseed, and yellow perch. There’s swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and lounging. Friday and Saturday will be guided fishing days. Our lead guide, the in dominatable Rachel Finn, of the Hungry Trout, will ensure our guides give us the best possible experience. One of the days will be spent casting for largemouth bass on the Saranac River from guided rafts (think of a drift boat made with pontoons) and the other guided day will be spent on the Ausable River in the morning casting for rainbow and brown trout with an afternoon of “blue lining” for brook trout! We will return to our Base Camp each evening for dinner, followed by lounging around the fire pit and star gazing before bed. Our anglers will be fortified for their journey home Sunday morning with a lumberjack breakfast!
Our Base Camp is a modern chalet with a spectacular mountain view, full kitchen and ample spots to sit and relax.
This trip is limited to 8 anglers and reserved for JASC members. The trip cost covers lodging and food, guides, guide tips, and incidentals. All anglers must have a NYS fresh water fishing license, all of her own gear.
Trip Cost: $775.00 per angler
