JASC provides a rare forum for women interested in the outdoors to find instruction, camaraderie, and opportunities to make new friends.

We approach our outdoor sports seriously (while maintaining a healthy sense of humor), to ensure our members safely enjoy the time we spend together.

We have a full calendar of in-person and virtual events each year including the Fly-Fishing School & Warm Up Weekend, fly fishing trips, clinics, fly tying, sporting clays, wing shooting, hiking, kayaking and just about any other outdoor activity that is not a “team” sport.

Access to the Fly-Fishing 101 Winter Series. Each month, board members and industry professionals host virtual events to teach the basics including required equipment (e.g., rods/reels/packs/line/leader), clothing & kit (e.g., waders, wading boots, polarized sunglasses), fishing knots, and entomology.

Our members receive news and announcements, and access to our members-only WhatsApp Groups so that we can all keep in touch with each other.
